Give your AI assistants the definition you approved

Assistants answer questions about revenue, margin and risk using whatever text they can find. SynkBase gives them the governed version, and tells them how current it is.

In development with design partners

What happens when an assistant asks

  1. Step 1A question comes in"What was net retention last quarter?"
  2. Step 2The assistant asks SynkBaseIt requests the definition of "net retention".
  3. Step 3Permissions checkedOnly what the person asking may see is returned.
  4. Step 4Approved definition returnedWith version number, approval state and any open drift.

An assistant is only as right as its definitions

An AI assistant asked for "active customers" will pick up whichever definition it finds first: an old wiki page, a draft spec, a column comment. It will answer confidently either way.

The more decisions run through assistants, the more a stale definition costs, and the harder it is to see where the answer came from.

What SynkBase provides

Approved definitions on request

Assistants and agents query SynkBase for a term and get the approved wording and formula back.

Version and state with every answer

Each response carries the version number and approval state. A term with open drift is marked as such, so the assistant can say so instead of guessing.

Same permissions as people

An assistant sees what the person it acts for is allowed to see. Restricted definitions stay restricted.

Model-independent

Definitions are served through a plain interface that any assistant or AI provider can call.

Shape SynkBase with us

We are working with a small number of organisations that live with this problem every quarter. Design partners get early access, direct influence on what we build first, and founder-level attention.
